Reversible BIM based on model Durmisevic 2015 tested on municipality building in Heerlen used by EU Digital Deconstruction Consortium to develop a framework for Digital Deconstruction platform. Reversible BIM does digital Reversibility assessment of a building and results in colour coded model illustration reuse potential of individual building parts and their embodied CO2/ environmental and economic value. Reversible BIM based on model Durmisevic 2015 used to develop deconstruction and reuse strategies for the Arep railway station in France. RBIM indicates reuse potential of elements and enables development of deconstruction and reuse strategies. At the same time RBIM outputs provide an overview of reusable tonnage of material, embodied CO2, sawed C&D waste and embodied economic value.

4D architects, E.Durmisevic has been working on Development of reversible steel component and interface between individual building parts, as follow up of design strategies and guidelines defined by E. Durmisevic as an output from EU BAMB2020 project. This new reversible interface and building element will enable easy recover, exchange, and reapplication of number of building parts for their follow up life phases. This development is done in collaboration with Jansen and ODS

4D architects has designed a reversible building module to demonstrate potential of reversible building structures which is reflected in material, CO2, energy saving. Green Transformable Building Lab (GTBL) – BAMB (bamb2020.eu)

Green Transformable Building Lab (GTBL) – BAMBPILOT SUMMARY. Realised in the framework of the GTB innovation centre for circular building in Heerlen, the Green Transformable Building Lab (GTB Lab) module has been developed around a reversible multifunctional steel frame which was filled by independent, exchangeable, standardised and reversible floor, facade and roof components.www.bamb2020.eu

As EU UIA expert, E.Durmisevic has published 5 journals on lessons learned from Supper Circulaire Estate project with regards to testing of 8 deconstruction and reuse strategies during construction of 3 houses made of 95% reused materials from a neighbouring 10 story flat building. Super Circular Estate Project, Journal no. 5, Municipality of Kerkrade (uia-initiative.eu)Super Circular Estate – First Circular Social Housing Estate for 100% Material and Social
